Happy hump day hunnnns!
‘Ump being the right word for todays blog as thats what I’ve got with myself. After an extremely lazy start to 2017, well, start would be an understatement, we’re half way to 2018. How mad? I'd say I'm an all or nothing kind of girl. Especially with fitness. I’ve found myself diving in and out of keeping fit the last two years. Now as much as I’d like to blame University for my fitness failure, the real blame is on myself. It's all really down to time management and priorities. For me personally if I'm not happy with my body, my gym efforts completely drop.
I suck, I know!
I think being disappointed with my body and my weight is where my personal motivation for fitness comes from, however I am totally ready for that to change. And what better way to get yourself stuck back into fitness then some good old goals… and this time they are for keeps. Most people would set a weight or a measurement to trim down, which in the past I’ve always done, however this time I want to set a goal that isn't weight or can be measured, but timed. I plan on entering a 5k race in a few months time, which might seem very lame to most, but long distance running will forever be my downfall. So I’ve picked my worst aspect to focus on.
Of course, all training requires a killer gym outfit and Ivy Park calls! With a brand new collection launched you will be truly spoiled for choice. I am a sucker for mesh, so this gorgeous block coloured sports bra was an easy choice. Co-ordinated perfectly with my 3/4 length black mesh leggings, which are a real gem for holding you in in all the right places. And since outdoor running will be on the cards, a matching pink hoody was only necessary. With light weight material, it is great for training in and throwing on before and after a workout, because looking the part means being the part.
