- conscious knowledge of one's own character and feelings.
"the process can be painful but it leads to greater self-awareness"
The solution to self awareness accept your weakness and turn them into strengths.
It hit me today when talking to my lecturer about accepting the dynamic of yourself and your mind-set that the little things can knock you more than you may think. Believing in yourself and accepting who you are in today’s online generation is harder than we think. We are constantly logged on, being directed by influencers everywhere. Achieving our own best personal standards should be our focus, rather than living to meet what’s perfect within the online world.
Sadly, we don’t like to admit our flaws to other people in case we are judged. But when did a stranger’s perception become more important than your own? If you decide to peruse each day with integrity your perception of yourself will be more accurate and you will learn to take everything with a pinch of salt. The problem with judging yourself is the ability to break when you aren’t where you set yourself to be.
During this conversation, it occurred to me the importance or developing your self-awareness in order to make changes to how you think and interpret things. Allowing the mind to change how you view yourself later effects how you perceive other people and their emotions.
It's time to accept yourself, flaws in all.
